  1. 2025 Theme: "Abide in Christ, Renewal in life."
    Theme verse: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5, NIV)
  2. Deacons Board received a resignation email from Pastor Tommy Yuen on July 30, 2025, and the news that CCM has accepted him as a candidate missionary for Small Town Mission in Montreal. After discussions and understanding Pastor Tommy's personal wishes, Deacons Board has accepted his resignation, effective November 1, 2025. Deacons Board is grateful for his many years of service at Bethel. May God bless his future missionary work. Pastor Tommy and Tina will share their missionary visions at the joint prayer meeting on September 7 at 12:15 p.m.
  3. Bethel is seeking a permanent part-time Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of the church office and assist our ministry teams and pastoral staff. This position requires a minimum of 22 work hours per week, on site at church.
    Job Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), QuickBooks, and Google Workspace; Ability to communicate in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, both verbally and in writing; Experience in office administration and bookkeeping is an asset; Preference given to Bethel members
    Expected Start Date: October 1, 2025

  4. CM Prayer Meeting will be held on September 3 (Wed) from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. via Zoom to pray for working members. Congregants are welcome to attend and make Bethel a prayer driven church. Please contact church office for Zoom link information.
  5. Starting from Sep 8 (Monday), Alpha courses (Cantonese) will be held every Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Congregants are welcome to invite non-believers to participate. Registration can be made at the office.
  6. MBCCA will hold a leadership training on Saturday, September 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Richmond Chinese MB Church. Deacons, Department Heads, and leaders are welcome to attend. Those interested in attending please go to the office to register.
  7. 2026-2027 Deacon Election will be held in-person on Sunday, September 21, 2025 by referendum. Please refer to the "Notice of Deacon Election" for details. Thanks God that Gary Choi, Edward Tsang, Amy Cheung, Angela Chan, and Benjamin Kaan have accepted nomination to be deacon candidates. Biography of the candidates have been posted on the bulletin board. The Active Membership List is also posted on the bulletin board, please contact the Membership Department for queries about the list.
  8. A new CM Sunday school session will begin at 12:15 p.m. on Sep 28. Mrs. Woo will teach Genesis (Part 2). All members are welcome to register at the office.
  9. Chinese School is now recruiting new students. All those aged 4 and above are welcome to register. For inquiries and registration, please contact Pr. Grace.
  10. The 63rd Canada Chinese Christian Winter Conference will be held on Dec 27-31. Registration is now open, if you are interested, you can contact Angela Chan.

  2. 執事會於2025年7月30日收到袁名慧傳道離職的辭呈，並中信已接納他成為蒙特利爾(Montreal)的候任小城宣教士的消息。執事會經過商討和了解袁傳道的個人意願後，接納他離職的申請，他的正式離職日期為2025年11月1日。執事會很感謝他在頌主堂多年的事奉，願主賜福他日後宣教的工作。袁傳道夫婦將於9月7日下午12點15分在聯合祈禱會中分享他們的宣教異象。
  3. 頌主堂現誠聘一名長期兼職行政助理，協助教會辦公室的日常運作，並支援各事工團隊及教牧同工。此職位每週需最少工作 22 小時，並需於教會辦公地點工作。
    職位要求：熟悉 Microsoft Office (Excel、Word、PowerPoint)、QuickBooks 及 Google Workspace；能以英語、粵語及國語進行口頭及書面溝通 ；具備辦公室行政及簿記經驗者優先；頌主堂會友優先考慮。
