Family News:

  1. 2026 Theme: "Abide in Christ, Growing in Love."
    Theme verse: "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." (Ephesians 4:15-16, NIV)
  2. Deacon Election will be held in-person on next Sunday, October 18, 2026 by referendum. On Election Day, active members can vote at church after Mandarin worship service or after Cantonese/English worship service. The election will end at 1:00 p.m. on the same day. Notice of the Deacon Election is posted on the bulletin board and on our church’s website, please refer to the Notice for details. The Active Membership List is also posted on the bulletin board, please contact the Membership Department for queries about the list.
  3. CM New Believers’ Sunday School sessions will be held on Oct 18, 25 and Nov 22, 29 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. New believers and those preparing to attend baptismal class are welcome to attend. Interested person can register in the office or with Rev. Woo.
  4. EM will begin a new series on Christian Education on Wednesday nights from Oct 21 to Dec 9 @ 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Theme is "Solitude with God". Prayer is one of the most difficult spiritual practices amongst Christians. Yet, prayer is the most essential in the Christian walk. Please sign up and learn how to pray together.   5. The 2027 church calendar has been printed. Please have one copy for each family.
  6. The church is currently undertaking the second phase of the roof replacement project, which costs $39,900. Due to insufficient funds in the Building Improvement Fund, the church encourages brothers and sisters to continue to support the fund and make special donations for the roof replacement, which can be made using the Building Improvement Offering Envelope or E‑Transfer, and indicate “RR” on the offering envelope or in the E‑Transfer memo field.

  2. 執事選舉將於2026年10月18日(下主日)以實體「全會友投票」方式舉行。常到會友可於選舉日在國語崇拜之後或粵語崇拜/英語崇拜之後在教會投票。選舉將於當日下午1時結束。執事選舉通知書已刊登在公告板和教會網站上，詳情請閱覽通知書。常到會友名單亦已張貼在公告板，有關常到會友名單的查詢，請聯絡會友部。

  4. EM英語事工將於10月21日至12月9日逢週三晚上7時半至8時半推出全新系列的基督教教育課程，主題：「與神獨處」。在基督徒的生命中，禱告是最難操練的屬靈功課之一。然而，禱告在基督徒的信仰奔路中，卻是最不可或缺的。歡迎大家報名參加，一同學習如何同心禱告。欲了解更多資訊，請聯絡張俊德傳道。
