Family News:

  1. 2026 Theme: "Abide in Christ, Growing in Love."
    Theme verse: "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." (Ephesians 4:15-16, NIV)
  2. 2026 Annual General Meeting was successfully held on June 28. At the meeting, voting was held to elect non-deacon members to join the senior pastor and 2 deacons to form the Nomination Committee to nominate candidates for 2027 new Deacons. Hon Ng received the highest number of votes (82 votes). Both Ken Hu and Edward Tsang received the second highest number of votes, with each of them receiving 60 votes (i.e., same number of votes). As both Ken Hu and Edward Tsang were elected, no further election will be held in this regard. Accordingly, 3 non-deacon members, Hon Ng, Ken Hu and Edward Tsang, were elected to join the senior pastor, Rev. Woo, and 2 deacons, Ivan Liu and Yi Jun Tan, to form the Nomination Committee to nominate candidates for 2027 new Deacons.
  3. The Cantonese Alpha Course will end tomorrow. We cordially invite all to keep forming a prayer network in different locations tomorrow from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to pray for the Holy Spirit to work on Alpha.
  4. A Child Behavior Management Workshop will be held on Saturday, July 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Everyone is welcome to attend.
  5. Our 2026 Children's Summer Camp will be held from August 10 to 21, and will be using cardboard toilet paper rolls and cardboard paper towel rolls for some of the activities. If you have any empty cardboard rolls, please place them in the collection box labeled "Paper Roll Collection" in the church office. Thank you for your support!
  6. Chinese School is recruiting 3 teachers for the school term 2026-2027. Interested parties can email their application and resume to chinese.school@bethelmb.org. Details are also available on our church website (www.bethelmb.org).
  7. Chinese School is now accepting registration for new students for the first term of the 2026-2027 school year. Children aged 4 and above are welcome to apply. For information, flyers are available at the church office or please contact Chinese School at chinese.school@bethelmb.org

  2. 2026年度會友大會已於6月28日順利舉行。大會中進行了投票，以選出非現任執事的會友，聯同主任牧師及2位執事組成提名委員會，提名2027年新執事的候選人。Hon吳瀚馳弟兄獲得最多票數(82票)。Ken胡建文弟兄和Edward曾慶樂弟兄均獲得第二多票數，各自獲得60票(即相同票數)。鑑於Ken胡建文弟兄和Edward曾慶樂弟兄均以同票當選，本堂將不會再舉行另一次的提名選舉。 因此，大會中選出3位非現任執事的會友Hon吳瀚馳弟兄、Ken胡建文弟兄和Edward曾慶樂弟兄，聯同主任牧師胡牧師及2位執事廖廣泉執事和譚毅君執事組成提名委員會，提名2027年新執事的候選人。
  3. 粵語啟發課程明天是最後一堂，誠邀會眾繼續於明晚6時至6時30分，一同在不同地方組成禱告網，為啟發禱告，求聖靈工作。
  4. 7月18日(六)上午10時至中午12時，教會邀請了外來講員舉辦「兒童行為管理工作坊」，誠邀有興趣的弟兄姊妹一同參加。
  5. 2026兒童暑期營將於8月10日至8月21日舉行，該活動需要一些空紙滾筒應用，如有空紙滾筒，請放在辦公室標明收集紙盒內，謝謝。
  6. 中文學校現招聘2026-2027學期年度中文老師三名，有意應徵者請電郵至：chinese.school@bethelmb.org，或聯絡教會辦公室，詳情可參閱教會網站(www.bethelmb.org)。
