Family News:

  1. 2026 Theme: "Abide in Christ, Growing in Love."
    Theme verse: "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." (Ephesians 4:15-16, NIV)
  2. The financial year will close at the end of this month. All department heads, please submit your fiscal‑year expenditures to the Finance Department on or before May 31, 2026.Thank you for your cooperation.
  3. Two CM Sunday school classes will be held at 12:15 p.m. after the CM service. Please be on time.
  4. CM Prayer Meeting will be held on May 27 (Wed) from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. via Zoom to pray for General Business Department. All are welcome to attend and make Bethel a prayer driven church. Please contact church office for Zoom link information.
  5. Alpha course training session and meeting will be held at the library at 10:00 a.m. on May 30 (Sat). All helpers are requested to attend on time to discuss how to operate the program.
  6. The Cantonese Alpha Course has started on April 13, every Monday (except public holidays) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the basement, for a total of 13 weeks. We encourage you to invite non-believers to attend. Also, we cordially invite all to form a prayer network in different locations every Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to pray for the Holy Spirit to work on Alpha.
  7. The 9th Graduation & Commissioning Service of the Canadian Chinese School of Theology Vancouver will be held on May 30, 2026 (Sat) at 2:00 p.m. at Richmond Chinese Baptist Church (10311 Albion Rd., Richmond, BC). Thanks be to the Lord! Pr. Joy Zhou, our seminary intern in MM, has been awarded a Doctor of Ministry degree. All are welcome to attend and congratulate her on her graduation. Due to the large number of graduates and their families, registration is required to attend the service.
