Family News:

  1. 2025 Theme: "Abide in Christ, Renewal in life."
    Theme verse: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5, NIV)
  2. Today is Bethel's 47th Anniversary. To express our heartfelt gratitude to God's unceasing love, caring and leading, there will group photo after service and an anniversary celebration cake-cutting tea party in the basement. Congregations are welcome to join the celebration after service.
  3. There will be a joint baptism and transfer ceremony next Sunday (Oct 12) at 11:45 a.m. after worship service.
    8 brothers and sisters (7 EM, 1 CM) will be baptized. 1 sister (CM) will be transferring membership.
  4. Deacons Board originally planned to hold a farewell party for Pastor Tommy on October 19 or 26 before his leave at the end of October. However, the Board respects his request and has rescheduled the farewell party to November 2. The Joint Prayer Meeting for mission month after worship service on that day will be cancelled.
  5. Thanks to God! After interviewing several candidates, Mandy Leung has been hired as Bethel's part-time administrative assistant. Her official start date was October 1, 2025.
  6. Bethel plans to begin offering official donation receipts for income tax purposes via email starting next year. If you wish to receive your tax receipt by email, please complete the “Consent Form for Receiving Official Donation Receipts via Email”, clearly indicating your authorization for email delivery. The signed form should be submitted by placing it in one of the designated collection boxes located on either side of the sanctuary stage, no later than October 19, 2025. If you need to make any changes to your consent in the future, you may request a “Request for Change” form from the Church Treasurer or Office. Once the form is completed and signed, please return it to the Church Treasurer for processing.
  7. The 63rd Canada Chinese Christian Winter Conference will be held on Dec 27-31. Registration is now open, if you are interested, you can contact Angela Chan.

  2. 今天是頌主堂 47週年堂慶。為感謝主歷年來的關顧及帶領，崇拜後將有大合照後，並於土庫舉行週年慶祝切蛋糕茶會，敬希各會衆於崇拜後留步，一同歡慶。
  3. 下主日崇拜後於11時45分將舉行聯合浸禮及轉會禮。有8名弟兄姊妹(7 EM, 1 CM)受浸，1名姊妹轉會(CM)。
  4. 執事會原本計劃於袁傳道離職前在10月19日或26日為他舉行歡送會，但執事會尊重他的個人意願，歡送會現改為11月2日舉行。當日原定於崇拜後為差傳月舉行的聯合祈禱會將會取消。
  5. 感谢神！經過數名申請者面試後，Mandy Leung 梁少敏姊妹獲聘請為教會兼職行政助理。她的正式上任日期為2025年10月1日。
  6. 頌主堂計劃在明年開始提供以電子郵件發送用於報稅的正式捐款收據。如欲以電郵方式收取退税收據，請清楚填寫「透過電子郵件發送正式捐款收據同意書」允許以電郵方式發送捐款退稅收據，並將「同意書」於2025年10月19日或之前投放入放在禮堂講台前兩側的同意書收集箱內。日後有需要對該「同意書」作出任何更改，可向教會司庫或辦公室索取「更改要求」表格，清楚填妥及簽署該表格後，請交回教會司庫辦理便可。
