Notice of Deacon Election:

TO: Members of Bethel Chinese Christian MB Church

  1. The Board of Deacons resolved that the number of deacons in 2026 shall be seven. There will be three openings for next year.
  2. Thanks be to God! Gary Choi (蔡智雄), Edward Tsang (曾慶樂), Amy Cheung (張雅婷), Angela Chan (陳安琪), and Benjamin Kaan (簡基業) have accepted nomination and will become candidates to the 2026-2027 Deacons Board. Biography of the candidates will be posted on the bulletin board.
  3. Deacon Election will be held in-person on Sunday, September 21, 2025. by referendum. No proxy voting will be allowed. On Election Day, active members can vote at church after Mandarin worship service or after Cantonese/English worship service. Election will end at 1:00 p.m. on the same day.

Please pray for the Deacon Election and vote on September 21, 2025.

Notes:

  • To be elected, candidates must receive a minimum of 60% of the votes.
  • A quorum of 60% of active members is required for the election. If quorum is not reached on September 21, another election will be held on September 28, 2025.

 

執事選舉通知書：

敬啟者：

  1. 執事會議決2026年度執事人數為七人。明年執事會會有三個空缺。
  2. 感謝神！感謝神！蔡智雄 (Gary Choi)、曾慶樂 (Edward Tsang)、張雅婷 (Amy Cheung)、陳安琪 (Angela Chan) 和 簡基業 (Benjamin Kaan) 已接受提名，成為2026-2027年度執事候選人。候選人簡介將刊登在公告板上。
  3. 執事選舉將於2025年9月21日(主日)以實體「全會友投票」方式舉行，不設委托書。常到會友可於選舉日在國語崇拜之後或粵語崇拜/英語崇拜之後在教會投票。選舉將於當日下午1時結束。

請為執事選舉祈禱，並於2025年9月21日投票。

註：

  • 執事候選人需至少得到投票人數的百分之六十贊成，方能當選。
  • 投票人數需達到常到會友人數之百分之六十，若2025年9月21日未能達到這投票人數要求，則會在2025年9月28日再舉行投票。
