Family News:

  1. 2025 Theme: "Abide in Christ, Renewal in life."
    Theme verse: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5, NIV)
  2. Today is Father's Day. Wish all fathers strong, healthy, and vital! As a warm regard, Bethel has prepared a small gift for presenting to every father in the church. The small gift symbolizes father's responsibility and steadiness.
  3. Bethel’s 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in-person on June 29, 2025 (Sunday) at 12:00 PM after the Cantonese Sunday Worship Service in the main sanctuary. The Family Forum will be incorporated as part of this AGM. An active member can authorize another active member by proxy to represent him/her in the AGM. For details, please refer to the Notice and agenda of the AGM that are posted on the bulletin board and on our church website (www.bethelmb.org).
  4. In accordance with the data privacy protection guidance from BCMB, all personal information of congregation members and activity participants must only be stored in our church's approved system and devices with password protection. No personal data is permitted to be stored on personal devices or personal cloud space (including laptops and computers, USB drives, and portable storage devices). Devices or paper documents containing personal information cannot be taken outside of our church premises without permission. Thank you for your attention and cooperation in safeguarding the privacy of our church community.
  5. CM Sunday school will be suspended today. Next Sunday will go out for street evangelism practice.
  6. The Praise Dance will be held at 10:30 a.m. starting on June 18 (every other Wednesday) in the church basement. Members are welcome to register at the office.
  7. Baptism Class will be held from July to August. Those who are interested to be baptized in October, please contact pastoral team for inquiries and registration.
  8. As our Administrative Assistant Julie Su has extended her sick leave until July 31, we are pleased that Mandy Leung has accepted a 2-month part-time job as an administrative assistant in the church. Her working hours are Monday (9:00am -1:00pm), Thursday (9:00am-1:00pm) and Friday (9:00am-5:00pm).
  9. Bethel prepared a caring card for Administrative Assistant Julie Su, all are welcomed to go to the basement to sign it after service.
  10. CFM is now recruiting helpers for our 2025 Bethel Kids Summer Camp! Sign-up forms are available at the front desk. Please contact Pastor Grace for more details.
  11. Bethel Chinese School is now recruiting students for the new school year. Children aged 4 to 10 are welcome to register. School fee for each term is $250. For inquiries and registration, please contact Pastor Kan.
  12. Administrative Assistant Julie has extended her sick leave to July 31.
  13. The kitchen in the basement is closed for renovation until it is completed. Please be careful when entering and leaving the basement.

  3. 本堂2025年年度會友大會將於2025年6月29日(主日)中午12時在粵語主日崇拜後在禮堂以實體方式舉行 。家事分享會將納入為此次會友大會的一部分。常到會友可用委託書，委託另一位常到會友代表出席會友大會。每一位常到會友，在每次會議中，可持有最多三份委託書。詳情請查閱已刊登在公告板和教會網站上(www.bethelmb.org)的年度會友大會的開會通知書和大會議程。
