亲爱的弟兄姊妹们，主内平安！

踏入七月份，在刚过去的一个礼拜，我和太太与几位朋友去了美国的黄石公园旅游，真的赞叹神的创造，是多么美丽，颜色是多么灿烂夺目。在罗马书1章20节「自从造天地以 来，神的永能和神性是明明可知的，虽是眼不能见，但借着所造之物就可以晓得，叫人无可推诿。」当你细心去留意身边的事物，你就能够看见神创造的伟大和神的爱是多么长宽高深的！弟兄姊妹，你会如何回应神的大爱呢？

教会踏入下半年，有很多外展的活动：小城宣教；儿童暑期日营；教会大旅行；中秋节晚会；差传年会；圣诞聚餐及联欢会… ；还有一些恒常的活动，如乒乓球、赞美操... 等等我们可以如何积极的参与？首先，主动认识每个活动的内容和需要，为每个活动祷告；然后参与事奉；当简传道分享，有一些弟兄姊妹主动地愿意参加儿童暑假日营的服事，是一件非常令人鼓舞的事，因为每个活动都需要信徒来协助，才能够有效地进行。我们的事奉不是为满足基督徒的责任，而是回应神的爱，甘心乐意，是为了别人得益处。

在7月底，已停止了几年的小城宣教活动重新启动了，粤语部有4位弟兄姊妹参加，国语部有2位，再加上我和太太，总共8位参与这次小城(Kamloops)的宣教体验。我和太太会在27号先上去，为当地的聚会点负责主日下午崇拜的领诗和讲道，还有为28日的福音爱筵作预备。而其他参与的弟兄姊妹会乘坐中信的福音车在28号早上出发。除了福音爱筵外，我们还会探望一些华人的餐馆，旅馆和家庭；然后29号回来。请大家为这次小城宣教和体验代祷，求神保守我们路上的平安，开我们的眼晴，看见福音禾场的需要，让Kamloops成为教会长期服事的地方。错过了这次小城宣教体验的弟兄姊妹，不要紧，还有很多事奉的机会。

不是神需要我们，而是我们透过事奉更加认识我们的神，更加能经历神的爱和神的大能！

Dear brothers and sisters, Peace be with you in the Lord!

In July, my wife and I went to Yellowstone Park in the United States with some friends last week, and we really marveled at God's creation, how beautiful it is and how brilliant the colours are. In Romans 1:20, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature — have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” When you pay close attention to the things around you, you will be able to see how great God's creation is, and how long, wide, high and deep God's love is! Brothers and sisters, how will you respond to God's great love?

As the church enters the second half of the year, there are many outreach activities: small-town mission, children's summer day camp, church picnic, Mid-Autumn Festival night, Annual Mission Conference, Christmas lunch and celebration..., as well as some regular activities, such as ping pong, praise dance, etc. How can we get involved? First, take the initiative to understand the contents and needs of each activity, pray for each activity, and then join in serving. It was very encouraging when Pastor Grace shared that some brothers and sisters had taken the initiative to participate and serve in the children's summer day camp, because each activity needs the help of believers in order for it to be carried out effectively. Our serving is not to satisfy the responsibilities of Christians, but to respond to God's love, willingly and cheerfully, for the benefit of others.

At the end of July, the small-town mission which had been stopped for several years will restart. There are 4 brothers and sisters from the Cantonese Ministry, 2 from the Mandarin Ministry, plus my wife and I, a total of 8 people that are participating in this small-town (Kamloops) mission experience. My wife and I will go first on the 27th to lead worship and preach at the local Christian gathering point on Sunday afternoon, as well as to prepare for the gospel love feast on the 28th. The other participating brothers and sisters will take the CCM Small Town Gospel Car and set off in the morning of the 28th. In addition to the gospel love feast, we will also visit some Chinese restaurants, hotels, and families, and then return on the 29th. Please pray for this small-town mission and experience; pray that God will keep us safe on the road, open our eyes, see the needs of the gospel harvest field, and make Kamloops a place of long-term ministry for the church. For those of you who missed this small-town mission experience, don't worry, there are still many opportunities to serve.

It’s not that God needs us, but that we know our God better and can experience God’s love and power more through serving!
