  1. Theme 2024: "Walk with Jesus with actions and in truth"
    Theme verse: "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." (1 John 3:18)
    Sub-theme for Fall (Oct-Dec): "Walk with Jesus, share His grace."
    Sub-theme verse: "Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day." (Psalm 96:2)
  2. November Missions Bi-week
    Theme: "Go, see, feel and seek the harvest field"
    "Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." (Matthew 9:35-38)
    Program: (Besides Sunday)
    Nov 23 (Sat) @ 1:00 a.m. : Visit the Indian Temple next door (Attendance at Nov 15 workshop and registration are required). Please reserve your time to participate and register at the church office.
  3. Mission response and faith pledge
    The mission theme for 2025 is "Go, see, feel and seek the harvest field." The relevant ministry plan, as well as next year's budget, have been published on the attached page. We urge everyone to go home and pray earnestly, and then fill out the response slip to support the ministry and financial needs. Response slip will be collected during next Sunday's service.
    Faith pledge is an offering act in addition to the tithe or regular offerings. It is based on faith and relying on the grace of the Lord to make more than the tithe or usual offering in the next year. Faith pledge is an act of exercising faith. The church encourages everyone to participate.
  4. Music Department would like to arrange a joint choir on Dec 22 Christmas Joint Worship. CM, EM and MM congregations are welcomed to join. The practice schedule will be held on Dec 1st, 8th, 15th at 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. and on Dec 22nd at 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Please sign up at church office or contact Joe Chan if you are interested.
  5. There will be Christmas caroling at Kingsway and Joyce Station on Dec 24 (Tues) at 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. and at brothers and sisters' home at 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. All are welcomed to join this outreach event. Please contact Ken Hu for inquiries and registration.
  6. Obituary : Our church member, Michael Chan, rested in the Lord on November 7. A memorial service will be held on November 23 at 2:30 p.m. at Bethel. May the Lord comfort his family during this time of mourning. Please remember the family in your prayers only.
  7. Pastor Tommy Off will be off on Nov 18 in lieu of Nov 11.
  8. 2025 church calendar is ready for pick up. One for each family, feel free to pick up extra copies for non-Christian friends as gifts to share the Good News.
  9. Multipurpose Room and Kitchen (MK) Renovation Special Offering
    The plan to renovate the basement kitchen into a Multipurpose room and Kitchen (MK) was presented to the congregation at the special town hall meeting on September 8 and information about the renovation project is also posted on the main floor bulletin board. The design and budget of the renovation project are under review. The renovation is targeted to take place in the first quarter of next year.
    The Board resolved that special offering will be collected for the MK Renovation Project from November 10, 2024 (Sunday) until the project is complete. To make a special offering for the MK Renovation, please write "MK" on the offering envelope (or on the Memo field for e-transfer).
    News and updates about the renovation will be announced as they become available. Please continue to pray for the renovation project.

    2025年的差傳主題是「走走看看差情尋」。有關的聚會及活動計劃，並明年預算，已刊登於附頁中，懇請大家回家多多禱告，然後填寫回應表，在事工上和金錢上作出支持。下主日崇拜時會收回應表。
    信心認獻是什一或恆常奉獻以外的額外奉獻，是憑信心在未來一年，倚靠主恩做多於什一的奉獻，又或平時的奉獻。信心認獻是一種操練信心的行動，教會鼓勵大家參與。

    把土庫廚房裝修成多用途室與廚房(Multipurpose room and Kitchen)的計劃已於9月8日舉行的特別家會向會眾介紹，有關裝修工程的資訊亦已張貼在正層公告板上。裝修 工程的設計和預算正在審議中，工程預計於明年第一季進行。
    執事會決議，從2024年11月10日(主日)起，將為多用途室與廚房(MK)裝修工程收集特別奉獻，直到工程完結。給MK裝修工程的特別奉獻，請在奉獻封上(或電子轉帳e-transfer的備註Memo欄上)寫上「MK」。
