  1. 2025 Theme: "Abide in Christ, Renewal in life."
    Theme verse: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5, NIV)
  2. Deacon Nomination/Election arrangement as follows:
    The Board of Deacons resolved that the number of deacons in 2026 shall be seven. This year, there are a total of five deacons. Gary Choi will have served his first term by the end of this year (eligible to be nominated); therefore, there will be three openings next year.
    The Deacon Nomination Committee has already met and nominated 23 brothers and sisters in accordance with Bethel’s Bylaws section 11, Acts 6:3, and 1 Timothy 3:1-13. The list of nominees is posted on the bulletin board. All the nominees are required to submit their reply by August 10, 2025. Two active members together may nominate other active members by first submitting the names to the Deacon Nomination Committee, then a written consent must be signed by the nominee, and such nomination must then be submitted to the Deacon Nomination Committee no later than 12:00 noon on July 27, 2025.
    Deacon Election will be held in-person on Sunday, September 21, 2025 by referendum.
  3. Thank God! The kitchen renovation project was completed this Friday, July 11. Starting Monday, July 14, all church basement activities will resume. In addition, the newly built multi-purpose room will also open. Priority use will be given to children and family ministries, as the room was originally built to serve their needs. Details regarding room reservation and scheduling will be announced later. Thank you for your patience and support!
  4. Manna Fellowship will be holding a yard sale outside church on Sunday July 20, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Please come along with friends and family to take a look and shop around! All proceeds will go directly to the EM Summer Retreat happening August 8-10!
  5. Small town mission experience: This year our church will cooperate with CCM to send a short-term mission team to Kamloops for a small-town mission experience. The date is scheduled for July 28 to 30. The registration deadline is July 15. For details and registration, please contact Pastor Tommy.
  6. Administrative Assistant Julie has extended her sick leave to July 31.

    執事會議決2026年度執事人數為七人。本屆執事共有五位，蔡智雄執事第一屆任期將於本年底屆滿(可再被提名為執事候選人)，故明年共有三個空缺。
    執事提名委員會已召開會議，並根據本章則第十一項，及使徒行傳6章3節和提摩太前書3章1-13節，提名23位執事候選人，該名單已張貼在佈告版上。被提名會友須於2025年8月10日前回覆是否接受提名。常到會友中如有兩位聯名推舉其他常到會友為執事候選人，必需先與執事提名委員會洽商，然後還須該候選人書面同意，之後提交執事提名委員會彙集，截止日期為2025年7月27日中午12時。
    執事選舉將於2025年9月21日(主日)以實體「全會友投票」方式舉行。
  3. 感謝神！廚房裝修工程已於本週五(7月11日)完工。教會將於7月14日(星期一)起恢復所有土庫活動，新建的多用途房間也將對外開放，以兒童及家庭事工為優先使用對象。(因該房間原為他們的需要而建的。)有關房間預訂的詳細安排將稍後公佈。謝謝大家的耐心與支持！

  5. 小城宣教體驗：教會今年將與中信合作，差派短宣隊到卑詩省內陸市鎮Kamloops作小城宣教體驗。是次日期定於7月28至30日。截止報名日期為7月15日，詳情及報名請與袁名慧傳道聯絡。
